TIPS

-Emergency number is 123. A free number for all kinds of emergency reporting from home and public phones.

-Most banks open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM- 11:30AM and 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM but some located in shopping malls and supermarkets might be open for longer hours.

-Credit cards are widely accepted but it is advisable to always carry certain amount of cash with you but not too much ( carry only Colombian pesos)

-Bring a sweater, sweatshirt or jacket because even though the temperature most of the time is great there might be some places around the city with a lower temperature. 

-The electric power is 110 volts, 60HZ with American standard plugs/sockets.

-Tap water is potable and is one of the purest in the region.

-Use common sense. The city is very secure for tourists but as in anywhere else in the world it is better to find out what places is better to avoid. Ask a local or contact us and we’ll be happy to inform you.

-Try not to carry expensive jewelry or other expensive items with you. It is better to avoid risk.

-Always pay attention to your personal items when visiting touristic and public places.
